- KLink AI is designed to keep chats, connection metadata, and settings on your device unless you choose to send a message to a configured AI provider or another device.
- API keys and device tokens are stored in the operating system secure storage or KLink AI SecretVault where available.
- KLink AI does not sell your personal information or use your conversations for advertising.
Information stored in the app
KLink AI may store chat history, model and provider settings, connection names, pairing metadata, device authorization records, and local app preferences on your device.
When you add an API key, provider credential, or device token, KLink AI stores the secret in secure credential storage when the platform supports it. KLink AI does not intentionally write secrets to normal app databases or logs.
AI providers and local devices
You decide where each chat goes. KLink AI can send messages to local models and tools on your network, to your own computer through the Connector, or to cloud AI providers that you configure.
When you choose a third-party provider, the message content and related context needed for that request are sent to that provider. The provider handles that data under its own privacy policy and terms.
Website and diagnostics
The KLink AI website may receive basic server information such as IP address, browser user agent, requested pages, and timestamps for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.
The app may create local diagnostics and logs to help troubleshoot behavior. If you choose to share diagnostics with us, we use them only to provide support and improve reliability.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the website, provide support, comply with law, protect users and the service, or send your requests to the AI providers and devices you choose.
Retention and deletion
App data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, remove a connection, revoke a device, or uninstall KLink AI. Data processed by third-party AI providers is retained according to the policies of those providers.
Website server records are kept only as long as needed for security, operations, and legal requirements.
Your choices
You can choose local providers instead of cloud providers, remove stored connections and credentials, delete app data, and decide which provider handles each chat.
Children
KLink AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including secure local credential storage where available. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as KLink AI changes. If a change is material, we will update this page and its last updated date.
